Ms. Christie is from Katy, TX, but received her bachelor's degree of Music Education from Texas State University. While attending Texas State, she worked with the opera and choral programs. She performed in such works as Dido and Aeneas, Cendrillon, and Suor Angelica. On the choral side, she has performed with the Treble ensemble, University Singers, Chorale, and Vocem Cordis, a student-led ensemble. Before that, she was in high-school varsity choir all 4 years, where she served on the choir council, performed in the show choir, and competed in All-State and Solo & Ensemble.

In her free time, Ms. Christie enjoys practicing guitar, tending to her plant babies, spending time with friends and family, puzzling, and reading. She is excited for an awesome year with Harby JH Choir!
