Each campus will have a campus-level STEM Fair as part of the campus' Independent Research Project Showcase event (January or February 2024) where a selected number of students will be chosen to represent their projects at the district level.
The Alvin ISD STEM Fair (district-level) will be held February 29, 2024 pm from 5 - 7 pm @ Liberty Hall in Iowa Colony.
The Alvin ISD STEM Fair offers a unique opportunity for students to display and communicate their scientific research, findings, and/or solutions. The Alvin ISD STEM Fair welcomes our community members to celebrate the students' successes; furthermore, the event offers an opportunity to recognize students' hard work with the project process and the culmination of a final product.
If a student wants to participate in the Houston area STEM Fair, the student will need to meet the expectations of both Alvin ISD STEM Fair and the Houston STEM Fair (SEFH). The student will need to communicate to their teacher the plan to participate in SEFH. For more information, click HERE.
