Niyogisubizo Elisa is a self-taught visual artist, art curator, and art collector, born and raised in Rwanda. The Founder & Gallery Director of Sundays Art Hub, located in Kigali, Rwanda.
His journey into the art world has been one of exploration, experimentation, and boundless curiosity. Without formal training from an art school, Elisa charted his own path, guided by an innate passion and determination to reach his artistic goals. From a young age, he found solace and self-expression in sketching, painting, and creating.
Reflecting on his journey, Elisa believes, “One of the most rewarding aspects of being a self-taught visual artist is the opportunity for self-discovery. I’ve had the freedom to explore my own interests and delve into subjects that truly resonate with me.” His work is deeply influenced by societal issues, particularly focusing on the wellness and living standards of the community. Each piece he creates stands as a testament to his dedication, resilience, and unwavering passion for the artistic process.
In addition to his practical art experience, Elisa has furthered his knowledge by taking courses in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation at The New Art School Modality / Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago (MCA). This academic grounding complements his hands-on approach and enriches his understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of art.
Elisa is also currently serving as the Ambassador of Teen Art Awards in Africa, an annual international art competition for teenagers. In this role, he supports and promotes young artistic talent across the continent, empowering the next generation of artists to express themselves and share their unique perspectives with the world.
Elisa’s philosophy centers around the belief that art is a powerful tool for expressing ideas and a means to transform today’s generation. His works address critical social messages, making art not only a creative endeavor but also a vehicle for community impact.

I am KAYIMAHE Ismael Zed, A Rwandan self taught visual Artist , born and living in Kigali.
I chose art as my only activity and approach the different techniques, including drawing, oil painting, acrylic and also watercolor.
I am inspired by everyday life. I place most focus in portraiture art, my work is inspired with the admiration , respect and appreciation I hold for black women worldwide. I intend to represent their beauty and strength. I try to show feelings and emotions in my art. For me art is life, it is what gives me joy.
In my art, dark skin women symbolize resilience, beauty, and diversity. I aim to portray their strength, grace, and individuality through my paintings. Dark skin women represent a celebration of diversity and the unique beauty that comes with different skin tones. Their presence in my art reflects a deep appreciation for the richness and complexity of human experiences and identities.
I love painting black women in white dress because the contrast between the dark skin and the white dress creates a striking visual impact. It’s like embracing the freedom to express themselves and find inner peace. It represent a sense of light and hope. That combination convey a powerful message of duality, balance, and harmony in my artistic expression.

Niyomugabo Isaiee is an artist and a student at Ecole d'art de Nyundo. Whenever he is doing his art, he basically draws his attention to painting so well. He is a visual artist. Before he got along with his journey with art, they were impediments, as well as all other careers where it was not easy.
Every bloke that he often faces through this journey brought him more attention and love of art because the more he fought trying to overcome the gaps against him, the more he felt like it was his place to stay. This is not just a saying cause; after all, the legends like Vincent Van Gogh, who died poor with his precious ideas, later contributed to modern art.
Isaiee would have already given up, but he is standing out with this collection of his paintings of human trunks in red suits to convey my positivity through the energy that nature provides to those with love and power to resist every kind of bloke to their achievements.

This gave birth to my impasto style. I see life as a passion for sticking to what we like and the endless battles of everything.
