Alton High School Honors Courses

Alton High School offers Honors courses in ten subjects. These courses incorporate acceleration of the learning material and a deeper dive into the content and scope of the subject area. Student grades will be weighted in Honors courses to reflect the differential in instruction and student workload. 

Please note that DC means Dual Credit. HC mean the course is an Honors Challenge course, offering honors credit when certain additional requirements are met within the course.
