App Smashing is utilizing multiple apps within one lesson. Students must interact with both apps in order to complete the assignment. App Smashing goes beyond the basic level of usage and refines the output that students are capable of producing.
When you're app smashing, begin with the end in mind. What do you want to see at the end of the process?
Then, backtrack from there. What apps will you have to "run" your idea through to get the result you want?
Documentation is up to the teacher as how to provide evidence. Must app smash at least 3 lessons. with at least 3 apps per lesson.
Digital Citizenship is just as vital as reading, writing, and arithmetic. For our students, their go to interaction is online and in real time. It is up to us to ensure that they are safe, using resources appropriately, and interacting with others in ways that promote growth and education.
To earn this badge, utilize at least 3 Nearpod CommonSense Media Lessons or explain and provide documentation of the lessons and types of activity you used to teach Digital Citizenship to your students.
