Illuminate has various forms of student data. From birthday, parent information, siblings, academic, and health records, by using the Search Bar at the top, you can quickly find the student you are looking for by typing first, last, or student ID.
You can also search the Illuminate Help Docs from the same search bar! Just start typing and the results will start populating!

To earn this badge, perform 250 searches! Once you have (or to check your progress), navigate to the Control Panel in Illuminate and view your badges. Illuminate has recorded your searches as "Sir Search-a-Lot". Take a screenshot and include as documentation on the Badge Application Form.

How many times do you think "I wish I could pull up a list of......". If the information is stored in Illuminate (which so much information is!) By creating a custom report, you can choose what information you want and if it changes, the report will change too!

You have your students but we know that they are not all on the same page! By creating student groups, you can have a visual of how your EL, GATE, boys, girls, or any group of students are performing in class or on assessments. Have a club that meets, you can create a student group of those students for when you go on a field trip and need to create a bus list!

Students are now required to take the CAASPP test on the computer each year. What better way to practice and reduce anxiety than using Online Testing in the regular classroom.
Illuminate Online Testing can use your already created assessments (multiple choice and short answer) with the Hybrid Assessment. Using the Itembank Assessments, you can more closely replicate the tools and functions that students will need to use on the State Assessment. YOU can even become a rockstar and create your own assessment in Itembank!

To earn this badge, create and administer 1 online test. It can be a hybrid test or Item Bank created (however it cannot be the District required Benchmark).
