Mrs. Peterson

Hi, my name is Deb Peterson. My husband Eldon and I live on a farm north of Alta with our 2 dogs Goldie and Sandy.

I have taught in the Aurelia and now Alta-Aurelia district for 35 years. I have taught 5/6 band, HS band, HS musicals, MS musicals, drama exploratory, TK-12 choir, swing choir, jazz choir, general math, tech math, and Algebra.

My main emphasis is vocal music. I play trumpet and piano (and almost anything else that might need playing on any given night). I also play organ at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alta.

I went to the University of South Dakota and double majored in math and music. While there I performed in many of the university's bands and choirs.
