I enjoy my subject matter and its content, working with students, learning, and pursuing professional growth are the most important reasons I teach. Alta-Aurelia also has an amazing academic environment and outstanding extracurricular opportunities for all students.

I grew up and graduated from Alta. I then attended Buena Vista University, graduating in 2002 with a major in Elementary Education and a K-12 mild/moderate Instruction Strategies. I also have a K-8 Reading Endorsement.

My husband, Brian, and I live outside of Alta with our two children, Kyler is a 9th grader and Kaylee is in 6th.
