Carving

Wood carving is very physical, hard on the body, takes a long time, a lot of space, is not very portable and makes a really big mess!  For example, the 6'x5' headboard and 6'x3' endboard for the primary bedroom took 4 years to complete.

Although I am proud of these accomplishments, I don't carve anymore.  Painting gives much more instant gratification, and doesn't hurt.
