Artist's Statement

Welcome to my Homepage!

My specialty is PAINTING PET PORTRAITS.

I love to see the personality of an animal emerge from the canvas! My motto - start with the eyes!

I began painting 15 years ago.  The pinnacle of my painting journey was to have my "Pilanes of Africa", (elephant) receive a Certificate of Achievement in 2025 from The Portrait Society of Canada.

PURCHASING ART

Most of my portraits have been commissions.  However, there are a few paintings marked with 'For Sale'.

I work from a photo. Commissions start at $300.00 CAD and go up depending on size.  A 25% deposit is required to start.  Shipping is extra, from Mississauga, Ontario, to anywhere in the world except the USA.  I do not ship to the US because of the tariffs.
