Request for Assistance (RFA) Process:
Request for Assistance (RFA) Process:
When a staff member or parent identifies a student who may benefit from additional academic, behavioral, or social-emotional support, a Request for Assistance (RFA) form should be completed. Once submitted, the counseling and support team reviews the request and follows up with the next steps. This process helps ensure students receive timely Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 supports. Please use the RFA form to request support for any student concerns.

Tier 2 Supports & Review Process. After a Request for Assistance (RFA) or a Character Strong Structured Nomination Form is submitted, the Tier 2 team reviews the request and schoolwide data (attendance, grades, and behavior). Students are identified based on need and team capacity. Parents/guardians are notified, and consent is obtained before services begin.
