Viewpoint’s Shakespeare Troupe will perform in the first annual Alpine Shakespeare Showcase on September 30th!

The Showcase will perform during the school day at Vista Heights Middle School on Tuesday, September 30th. It will be an awesome opportunity for students to watch other Alpine students perform and interpret Shakespeare.

What is a shakespeare Troupe?

After auditions, a Shakespeare troupe will be selected as those who will represent Viewpoint in the Alpine Shakespeare Showcase. At the Showcase we will have 10 minutes of performing time.

The pieces for the performance have not been chosen yet, and as a troupe we will decide what monologues or scenes to perform. 

AUDITIONS 

Auditions will be AFTER SCHOOL Aug 21st from 3:00-4:00. The audition is the entire hour and you are required to be there the whole time. You do NOT need to prepare anything for the audition. You will be given something to read and perform at the audition. The audition will be in a group setting and (I hope) will help relieve some stress and anxiety that comes with auditioning. Bring your creativity and willingness to just GO FOR IT!
