NEW CHANGES THIS YEAR! 

Musical Theater 1 class is a semester-long hands-on workshop class that focuses on students achieving skills to enhance their audition and performing abilities. (Students can take the class both semesters. There will be repetition of the skills, but the songs and performances will be different.) 

Students will develop skills in singing, dancing, and acting. They will also learn about Musical Theater history and the basic structures of Musicals. Students in the class will also perform in a Musical revue onstage! 

This class is created to give you the chance to shine on stage as you audition, rehearse, and perform in the musical theater numbers and scenes while learning the basics of music, singing, choreography, and performing in a musical. It will prepare you to more confidently audition and perform in the community and school productions in the furture. You will be required to see a musical per semester.

CANVAS: 

We use Canvas as a way for you to submit assignments digitally and to keep you informed on what you miss in class when you are absent.
