Slides need to include transitions
All pictures/text boxes need borders
Show students the research state site if they are having a hard time picking a state
Name your project in the upper left corner
Have students work on the first slide, using a background image and 2 text boxes with their state name and their name. Make sure students fill in the text boxes with a color so you can see the text clearly
When students finish with the 1st slide have them raise their hand and check them off to go to free choice time. (Who wants to be Help desk students?)

Finish up Google CS First Coding Adventure on the High Seas
Ask students to raise their hand if they want to be "help desk" and are mostly finished with their project
Choose 3 students and have them put on the lanyards hanging on the hook at the back of the classroom
When a student has a question they raise their hand and the "help desk" students will walk around and help them
Gallery walk (last 12 minutes)
Students will put their project in full screen (4 way arrows in the top right corner)
Green, Blue, and Pink rows will stand up and walk and choose to see other students projects that are sitting on Red, Orange, and Yellow.
Students will ask to see other students project and give them a compliment and a suggestion. They will then move onto another student and do the same thing.
Set a timer for 5 minutes each time. Students should be able to comment on 3 students projects at least during the 5 minutes.
After the 5 minute timer have Green, Pink, and Blue sit down and have Red, Orange, and Yellow stand up and do the same process with viewing projects.
