Registration

In-district Students (Alpine School District Students): The annual, non-refundable registration fee is $100, with an additional non-refundable $5 charge for the first curriculum unit.

Credit Breakdown

It is important to recognize that the curriculum of East Shore Online is delivered in eighths (⅛), i.e., eight units for a full year course equivalent to 1.0 credit. An eighth of a unit of curriculum is half of a term–which, in a traditional setting is 22 or 23 days. We are giving you 30 days to be on schedule. It is recommended that you work on no more than two courses at a time.

Course Expiration and Renewal

All curriculum units are designed to be completed in 30 days or less. If you do not complete the unit within 30 days, you must pay a $5 renewal fee for an additional 30 days. This can be done online or over the phone by calling our help desk at 801-610-8185. Units can be renewed at any time if the proper fees have been paid. Students will need to start a unit over completely if the unit is over one year old.

Physical Education Courses

Each unit in a physical education course takes a minimum of 10 hours/ 1 week to complete. Students must be enrolled in the unit for at least 1 week before being able to submit their fitness log. Fitness logs must be completed during the time they are enrolled and cannot overlap with another unit’s log including in a different course.
