Note: You will be assigned a group and a natural resource in class.

RESEARCH : You will be doing research to answer 8 questions about your assigned natural resource. You must address every question in your presentation later.

Question 1: Explain why this resource is important.

Question 2: Determine if the resource has a renewable source. Explain where the resource comes from and how it is gathered.

Question 3: Determine how much of this resource is used. How quickly is it being used up?

Question 4: Are there any other options that would serve the same purpose?

Question 5: How is the use of it affecting the environment?

Question 6: Look back at question 2. How is the way this resource is obtained causing problems for the environment?

Question 7: What are some of the possible solutions for solving the environmental issue?

Question 8: Are there any negative impacts to the solutions you came up with in question 7?

PRESENTATION : You will present your research using Google Slides.
