Important Dates/ Information:
We will be taking the RISE MATH TEST the WEEK OF APRIL 29th - MAY 3rd from 9:20 am -11:00am. It is important that your child gets a goodnights rest, eats a good breakfast, is on time to school, and is at school on the days we will be taking the test.
PLEASE DO NOT CHECK YOUR STUDENT OUT DURING THESE TIMES ON THOSE DAYS!
No electronic devices that can be used as calculators are allowed during testing. Electronic devices include BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, cellphones, smart phones, smart watches or any other internet-capable devices

May 22nd- 1st-6th Field Day
May 24th- Last Day of School for 1st-6th From 9:15 am-10:45 am -Busses will be running.

Homework
Will consist of:
- Reading- Read out loud to a parent or sibling for at least 20 minutes.
- Fluency passage- Have your child read the passage each day and time for one minute. Mark where they left off when the timer goes off. Record the number of words read correctly and incorrectly. Then answer the comprehension questions on the back.
- Math- A math page is also attached to help your child with the concept we have learned the previous week. It is IMPORTANT after we have learned about Multiplication, for your child to be studying their multiplication facts at home!
Look for more games and other resources to come to help support your child at home to know their multiplication facts!
Please make sure your child brings back the newsletter, fluency sheet, and math pages back on FRIDAY.
