Mrs. Baker's Class

Welcome to Mrs. Baker's class.

My name is Taunya Baker. I have lived in several different places around the world. I have lived in Utah, Arizona, Canada, Virginia, California and Mexico City.

I have always loved learning, sharing what I know, and helping others learn. I wanted to help others like my 1st and 2nd grade teachers helped me. That is why I became a teacher.

I love to read books, watch movies and tv shows, play the piano, draw, paint and bake. I have made wedding cakes for two of my cousins.

I can speak Spanish and I am currently using apps to teach myself Chinese.

I also love to eat Mexican food, especially spicy food.

I have been married for 6 years. My husbands name is Jeff. I have 2 wonderful children that I love to spend time with after school.

Mary and Vincent are twins. They were born December of 2021. They are a joy to be around and so happy.

Mary is now walking and Vincent is close to walking.

They love to knock down block towers. Signing time is their favorite show to watch.

I graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I also am currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program at Western Governors University.

I also love to bake! I made this cake for my Grandparents 55th wedding anniversary. I also have made cakes for birthdays and weddings.
