What do you like to do in your free time? I like to read, write, play music, play video games, play chess, or do a round of tennis. I really enjoy playing Legend of Zelda; Breath of the Wild, which is represented by the blue flower.

On this paper I have a lot of things I like. I did BYU because I root for them. I did a chess board because I play chess and I did an Xbox because I own an Xbox.

I did a stereo because I like to listen to music. I also did the U my family and me are Utah fans. I did a dancer because I am a dancer. I did a rainbow flag to show I support gay. I messed up on the purple line and I don't know what that is.

This is a self-portrait but without my face. So it has stuff that describes me. I love flowers so I drew flowers. Since I love music I drew music notes. I drew perfume cause I love Bath & Body Works. I love Taylor Swift so I drew one of her albums. Hope you enjoy!

I love rainbows. In the painting unit, I made a sunset, but the sunset had all the colors of the rainbow in it. In my collage, I made a rainbow. In my clay project, I'm making a rainbow. And now in this, I'm making a rainbow. I also love painting, sunflowers, Dr. Pepper, drawing, and I guess "Art". That's why it's my favorite class, Haha.

The music notes means music because I love music and singing. The pumpkin is for Halloween. The potted plant is for nature. The butterfly is for animals and insects. The meatball is for meat because I LOVE MEAT! The paintbrush is for art. The shape of Texas means Texas and traveling and finally the fireworks are for celebrating holidays. These are all the things I love.

I really like all of these things like Star Wars is awesome. I am really good at violin and I like playing Disney songs. I also really like to play football and basketball because my dad plays basketball and football because tackle football looks fun and I'm going to play this summer.

These are the tings I love. The Jordans are my favorite shoes of all time. I love my Xbox and phone. One of my favorite food burgers the double-double from In-and-Out. the leaf symbolizes nature. I love to be in the nature and mountains. My favorite sport is basketball.

I drew the soccer ball because I love to play soccer. I drew the book to indicate knowledge and the yarn because I knit and my bunny I love her and the ruby it's my name and flowers I like to garden. And ocean I like to swim.

This is a self-representing portrait. The lightning bolt represents my energy and kindness. The werewolf represents my wild self, the spider represents my flexibility, the velociraptor my speed, Enderman is spookiness, Xbox controller is gaming, robot is smarts, dragon represents my creativity and the pirate ship represents sly personality.

"A Night at the Beach"

I have only been to the beach in the daytime. I thought it would be cool and unique to imagine and create a beach during the night. If you look closely in the sky there is wind blowing the palm tree to the side. I like to think that the wind blew the coconut out of the tree.

"A Day in the Jungle"

In jungles there are a lot of animals such as jaguars, pandas, birds, etc. What inspired me to make a jungle was the game Minecraft with animals from the game. The vines I made on the trees are 3D so they actually dangle. My favorite thing I made is the bird, I was thinking of making the bird's wings 3D but I decided not to.

"The Path"

This is a path down a forest. There is a mushroom and bugs. I made it because I love nature and forests. If you look closely at the front, you can see a little worm. The bugs are a spider, ladybugs, a worm, and a fly. I hope you enjoy my artwork!

"A Day at the Beach"

I decided to do a day at the beach because I will be going to the beach in Florida and I can't wait to feel the sand in between my toes and the warm sea water on my legs. This is why I chose to do a day at the beach.

"Day in the Sun"

Ever since I was little I loved sitting out in nature. Every once in a while I will go outside and listen to the birds and the wind. This piece of art remind me of the beauty of the outdoors. Lots of times I will forget the beauty around me and stare at a screen. this art is supposed to replicate the Jordan River and a peaceful day.

"Great Flameblade"

This is Flame Peak it is always on fire. It is the home of the Flameblade (in the rock) raging thunderstorms above, fire below and the blade is to top it off.

"Jellyfish"

This artwork I made, "Jellyfish" is an artwork of the sea, with coral, fish, and of course: the Jellyfish. I basically just imagined it, I have only been to the sea twice, and both I never went scuba diving. I chose the jellyfish as the star because I thought it would be a cool twist, instead of a fish or an eel. Thank you.

"A Dreamer's World"

Somewhere there may be a distant planet that is similar to this one. Somewhere that has furry geckos and floating islands in the sky and a sun so hot it's burning purple, somewhere.

"Diamond in the Rough"

I drew this mountain range because of the beautiful mountain ranges in Utah. The Diamond is the house on the rough mountains,. I really like nature.

"Peaceful Ride"

Fishing and kayaking on a lake are some of my favorite things to do. I have never gone kayaking and fishing in the ocean, so I decided to make a scene that I can imagine myself in the boat. The starfish is one of the many beautiful creature in the ocean, and the coral and seaweed are there to show the variety of life in the ocean. Finally, the turtle is there because people need to stop hurting them.

There is life in all I did this wintery forest to show the Darkness and blandness of this place. The bunnies represent people and the carrot is the good. So I made it so the bunny or people are looking of finding the carrot or good.

"A Life in the Jungle"

I love to be in the mountains and foresty area. The river in the back that is once where I washed my bike. The yellow is flower that once got stuck in my bike.

"Anti-Garbage"

Trash has been a really big problem in the world. There's garbage on the street, the ground, everywhere really. If everyone picked up the trash this is whatI think the world would look like, all beautiful and peaceful.

"Canada Cabin"

I made this because my family just had to sell it. Here at this cabin I have seen eagles. I've gone fishing and have even seen a giant eagle's nest! I always had fun here and I'm sad that I can't go there again.

"It's a Good Day for a 'Good Day'"

I did this bee on a flower because 1, my last name is Bee and 2, I thought that a 3D flower would look good. I tried to make the fence in the background look like the one in my backyard. Help save the bees.

"The Castle of the Fire Emblem"

It's the castle of the fire emblem where the society of the fire emblem lives. Though they're a peaceful society, they're under attack from the horrible petrifying and terrifying Earth Dragon so they must burn the brightest light!

"Archy"

This is an arch that I made with paper and I tried to make it look somewhat like the Arches National Park and it didn't really work. But it still looks good so I hope you like it!

TOUCHING SPIRIT BEAR TOTEMS

Students read the book, Touching Spirit Bear, then carved a totem to represent themselves.

This is my totem. I carved 1 face, two faces 3 faces. I think it looks good.

The first thing I carved on my totem was a whale because it seemed easy and I liked the statement it said about the whale. Then I carved a bear because it looked simple. Then the last thing I drew was the American Flag because it is something of my own and seemed very simple to carve.

"Totem"

I put the beaver first because I find the meaning of it the most important. The beaver means old, wise, builder, creative, artistic, strong, and sense of family. I did the bear second because I think it's still very important but I think the beaver was more important. Then I put a wolf because this one's still important but the two before were a lot more important to me.

"Totem"

For my totem I picked a beaver, wolf, and whale. I picked a beaver because it looked cool, I also picked a wolf because wolves are cool! I picked a whale because whales are cool.

"Animal Totem"

My totem has two animals on it. The first one is a wolf, and I chose the wolf because they are loyal, successful, and powerful. They are very strong too. The second animal I chose is a whale, and I chose it because whales are hunters, wise, and have power. They're also cute.

"Great Totem"

My totem has 3 different animals. Raven, owl, whale. Raven (credited for tricking the owl) is on top, right above the owl. That I chose them both, because the raven is credited for tricking the owl. I chose the whale because he is the hunter and commanding of the sea.

"Green Totem"

My totem has three different animals, a raven, wolf, whale. The raven is cool and is a cooler bird. The wolf is also cool but he shows loyalty, success, powerful, pathfinder, and teacher. Last the whale was easy cool and he is a hunter, wisdom, and power.

The beaver is there because they are cool. I like wolves. Wolf is a Zelda reference. I also like hawks! Hawk design is also a Zelda reference. Do you like it fellow Hyrulians?

"Totem"

First it was an eagle because I am very good at being a leader and to communicate. Next is a wolf because I am loyal to my family and I like to teach people how to do it so they are not confused. Last bear... I'm often misunderstood, welcome, friendly, humility. I did not care if I was humiliated.

"Totem"

My totem has a hawk and I picked the hawk because I thought that the shape looked cool but it is really hard to carve. For the wolf I just figured why not choose the wolf and it looked fun to carve. My whale I just wanted to do the whale because the whale looked cool and when I saw Ms. Watson do the salmon I wanted to do a fish.

I put the hawk, owl, and wolf. I thought the wolf was like me, I think. I'm good a surviving and I chose the hawk because I have lots of strength and the owl I chose because I think I'm respected.

"My Totem"

It was originally going to be a beaver, wolf, and bear. When I was carving the wolf there was too much foam on one side. I ended up cutting off the wolf but it messed with the beaver. The beaver was hopeless so I am left with the bear. I did choose these animals because they described me. Loyalty, success, teacher, welcome, friendly, wise, creative, artistic and determined, strong, and sense of family.

"Hobo Joe"

I did carve a totem in the beginning, but then I started shaving down so much that I ended with one animal. In the back of that animal I drew a smiley face. I carved off the back of the smiley face so then I had no more animal (oops). But over all the animals I chose were the wolf the whale and the frog. I chose those because all of them had characteristics that I had.

I did ocean animals because I love the ocean and these animals make me happy. I did the dolphin because dolphins have lots of energy. I did the turtle because they are pretty. And I did the star because I love stars.

"Animals"

The bird represents my grandma and grandpa on my dad's side because there are birds always flying and chirping at their house. The raccoon represents my other grandma and grandpa on my mom's side. They always have tons of coons. Then the butterfly represents my family. We always see them on hikes and almost everywhere we go.

"Totem"

Wolf birds fish for spirits that Cole danced for some of them.

"Wolf and Hawks"

I made a wolf and a hawk because they looked the best to me out of all of the animals. So I carved them into the styrofoam.

"Royal Trick"

I loved doing the raven and the wolf because, the wolf is loyal, success, powerful, and pathfinder and I feel like that's me. I did the raven because tricky, mischievous, and sometimes greedy and that can be me sometimes. This was a super fun challenge to achieve. But hard at the same time.

"Totem"

The first one of my totem is a lion because they are strong, stealthy, and powerful. My second one is an owl because they are quiet, smooth, and wonderless. My last one is a salmon because they are fast at swimming, freely, smart.

I put a bear and a beaver and a wolf. I like the bear because it is friendly and welcome to his humility and learned that's all but the beaver is a strong and wise about stuff and wolf is loyalty and success about stuff.

I did a beaver, raven, and wolf because they all are smart, majestic, and are cool animals.

"Little Totem"

I did a chipmunk on the top because when me and my family go camping I love to see them. I did a parakeet in the middle because I have pet parakeets and they're so cute and playful. I did a deer on the bottom because I like the way the deers antlers look they're so pretty.

"Totem Pole"

I made it based off of animals. I chose a bear, bat, and fish because they bear lives on land the bat lives in caves and the fish lives in water. I based it off layers the first land, the second, caves, and the third ocean.

Students learned watercolor painting skills and techniques, then created original works of art.

"A Drive of the View of the Mountains"

I had this thought in my mind of a car driving by the mountains literally everywhere I go that's what I see. I just had a lot of visions of this so I painted it. I didn't realize it would turn out this great!

"The Outdoor Sky"

I painted the outdoor sky because I could kinda tell that I would like the mixing of the sky to the ground but I wish I could of made it less blotchy.

"Misty Mountain Range"

At first I wanted a lake but then I ended up doing mountains. I started mixing random colors together to see what they did and I chose the colors you see in the paper. It didn't have much detail but it still worked out.

"Hope"

Ever since 1st grade I have wanted a dog. I have always wanted a dog to be my best friend. The other meaning of this painting is that if you look in his eyes you can see that he wants something. There are so many dogs out there that are not given a chance and just go to shelters. My dream is to have all dogs have a home and not be fighting for their lives.

I had the idea of a Pikachu but then it turned into a rabboot then a morepeko on a Bantha with 2 birds and an Among Us guy, it really transformed!

I painted this because my grandpa used to always do splatter and my grandma used to paint turtles before she died. The painting is a turtle in a paint galaxy.

"Blue Valley"

I wanted my project to be a waterfall but things didn't work so I did Blue and Green Valley with trees in the middle. I'm not a fan of trees but I really like the colors and the colors they turn into.

"Arches"

I love hiking to Delicate Arch and just love the orange sky when the sun rises. There is a heart because it is one of my favorite places to hike. Nature is the best place to get inspiration for art.

"Sunset Silhouette"

I did a sunset and 2 birds in a tree because I love sunset colors. And I wanted to do 2 birds in a tree because I thought it would look good.

"Rob"

It was originally a mace but i messed up so I flipped it upside down and got a robot named Rob and he has a blazing inferno behind him.

"Bee Happy"

I did a silhouette of a bee because my last name is Bee. And I just felt like doing a bee. I made it kind of cartoony.

"Lazy Seal"

I did this because I love the water and at first I wanted to do a sailboat but that didn't go as planned so then I tried a dolphin but the fin was too big so I made it a fat seal. I'm pretty happy with it even though it didn't go how I wanted it. I hope you like it, too.

"First Encounter"

This is a painting of 2 kids who are completely different. One is a girl who always needs to be perfect. the other is a little bow who dreams of seeing an alien. the green leg is the boy's prosthetic leg. I made this cuz we are all different and even though we are different, we can get along. Their worlds are colliding and they are first meeting. I hope you enjoy this artwork.

I love the stars and space so I thought of a sunset to represent a new era. The person you see is a humanoid cat to represent how little we know about our universe.

When I was in 3rd grade I made a Mother's Day card that was at first an accident. I dripped some random paint on my page. But I decided that some splattering would make it look like a galaxy.

I love geometric designs. I think they are really cool especially with pink, yellow, blue, and green it also just makes me feel happy.

I did a flower because I think that flowers are beautiful.

In the summer my family did this in chalk on our driveway and I thought that it would be fun to do this in watercolors.

My painting is about animals on the ocean floor. there's a shark, jellyfish, little fish, and coral.

Instead of mountains I was going to do the top of a roller coaster and the top of a ferris wheel.

I love to fly. If I could have any power it would be flying. But sometimes it is nice to sit down on a branch and watch the sunset.

This rubix cube reminds me of when I solved a rubix cube. I had to go step by step just like how I drew this.

This artwork I did is about little things in a big place in Salt Lake City. I would see big buildings that are modern. But I saw one building that was vintage. One little vintage building. That is what brought this artwork to life.

I decided to do an L because it is the first letter of my name.

I used to live in an area in Murray on an empty street with a few buildings. They weren't always empty but I just liked the thought of an outline of the area.

I made this barn because when I went to South Dakota I saw so many barns so I guess I was inspired by them.

For my 2-point perspective I did some presents and a Christmas tree and I decided to do this because it's almost Christmas and presents are squared. I think I need to work on drawing lighter. I hope you like this drawing.

This was hard to do because I have a pretty long name but it was still very fun and I decided to make my name a rainbow because I have 8 letters so it was perfect. I hope you like my drawing.

"Piece of Pizza"

At first I was trying to do a flying carpet, but i made it really long and my neighbor said, "Hey, that looks like a pice of pizza." So I thought, hey, it does! So I started doing pieces of pizza. If you look closely at the top right pizza, you can see a faint line from the flying carpet. I also am proud of my signature.

"My Recipe Books"

I was inspired by the holiday season to create this work of art. I really love cooking so I decided to have a few cookbooks. I used 2-point perspective for this piece of art. Ms. Watson taught me how to create things using 2-point perspective, that is one of my favorite types of art.

"The Neighborhood"

I drew this picture trying to make it look like a neighborhood. I wanted the shading to look like the sun was setting behind the mountains. Then I added some nature at the bottom then added a bench. Well, that's most of my drawing explained.

I did this piece of work because I was looking out my window in my room I saw my neighbor's light on their house and I want to show you guys how I felt.,

This is my artwork. And as you can see, it is filled to the brim with stuff that I love. The thought struck me when I could not decide on a project. so I decided to go with a montage.

I am really into Rubix Cubes so I drew one in my grandma's drawers on a table in 2-point perspective to make it look realistic.
