Students in Mrs. Hahn's class learned about key details and predicting using images of three Norman Rockwell illustrations. Students chose ONE of the three images to make a prediction about what came BEFORE or what came AFTER the moment shown in the illustration. They made their own artwork illustrating their prediction, then wrote a story to go along with it.

One day two kids went outside to play on that day it was fall and the tree was spilling leaves and the kids went under and they got knocked over. So they tried to get back up. They tried and tried and tried but they could not get back up. The tree stopped spilling then they got back up and went inside. The end.

One day outside it was burning hot the boy was so hot he asked his mom, "can I got to the pool? It is so hot" the boy said, "Yes," said his mom. The boy brought all of his water toys before they started driving the boy said "let's go to the coldest pool you could find because I'm the hottest I've ever been. They arrived at the pool. the boy jumped out of the car and ran as fast as he could and he splashed into the pool and that whole day he was there he had so much fun!
