Art

HELLO FREEDOM FALCONS! LET'S MAKE SOME ART!

Please use this website to find art projects and art-related activities you can do at home. Below are links to possible art projects and activities. Feel free to explore each of the art projects before you choose one to do. Read the instructions clear to the end so you can experience the full art project. You are also invited to explore other artistic opportunities, such as under the heading, "Extra Activities." Also you could visit the student art gallery. It's fun to see the art that students have done and sent to me.

I've selected projects and activities that should require relatively few materials. Most projects require pencil or pen and paper. If you have other art materials at home, such as colored pencils, crayons, markers, or watercolor paint, you are welcome to add color to your art. You could also try painting with tea, chocolate milk, koolaid, juice or any other beverage.

We believe that participating in the arts is beneficial to student development and provides them with important pathways to connect with their imaginations and the rest of the world.

If you choose to participate in "at home specialty", I hope that you enjoy these activities

I plan on updating this site regularly with new content.

Enjoy!

It looks like we might be getting some sunshine! That's great! Because for this project you need sunshine to make shadows so you can trace them. See how shadows work at different times of the day to make different pictures. This also works if you have a spotlight or flashlight thet you cn focus on your toy. It's pretty fun. Go check out the "African Sunset Shadow Tracing"
