STEP 2: ESTABLISH THE BOUNDARIES OF YOUR NEW COLONY
KEEP THESE THINGS IN MIND AS YOU ESTABLISH THE BOUNDARIES:
1. In STEP 1, you chose a major colonial area: New England, Middle, or Southern - your colony must be located in the area you chose.
2. In STEP 1 you also chose a more specific area within that major colonial area - make sure to place your colony where it directs you.
3. Find the 13 Colonies map on page 2 of your British Colony Simulation packet. You will notice that this map has the real colony boundaries lightly drawn in. Draw in the boundaries of your fictional colony:
Pay attention to the choices that you made
Look at the resources that are available to you in the area of your colony - include the resources of your choice within the boundaries of your colony!
