You have decided to stay near the Massachusetts Bay Colony

Here are some things to remember as you create your colony:

• In your colony, only men who are members of the Puritan religion can vote

• The political leaders are the same as the religious leaders

• People in your colony can let the government know what they would like done in small town meetings

• There is not freedom of religion unless you are a Puritan

• You have occasional fights with the local Native Americans

You can locate your colony in any of these areas:

• Massachusetts

• New Hampshire

• Maine

Pay attention to the resources in the area you choose to settle. These are the resources that your colony will be able to access.
