You have decided to settle in a place that is safe for people who are in debt

Here are some things to remember as you create your colony:

• Your colony is the farthest south of all of the colonies

• In England,  if you could not pay your debts you could be put in prison. Your colony is going to offer these people a place to make a new life and start over

• Slavery will be outlawed in your colony

• Your colony stands between the other colonies and Spain, who is England's enemy - you must always be prepared to defend yourself from Spain and its American Indian allies

You can locate your colony in any of these areas:

• Anywhere on the farthest area of the Southern Colonies  - between the Savannah and Altamaha Rivers

Pay attention to the resources in the area you choose to settle. These are the resources that your colony will be able to access.
