My Mission

My mission as a 4th grade teacher is to provide a caring, safe, structured environment where all students have the opportunity to learn and to become respectful, responsible, and competent citizens. I will diligently strive to provide learning activities that follow this mission. 

I have a dual degree in Early Childhood/Elem. Education from Utah State and have 6 extra endorsements.

This will be my 21st year in Alpine. I have taught grades K-2 and EdTech. I love using music in the classroom.

I am married to John and  we have 2 boys and 1 girl. John has a PhD in Molecular Biology and loves science. We enjoy being outside, reading, playing games, and being with extended family. We like to be in the mountains, but are also content to stay home and have fun together.

I love to read and discover new books for myself and my family. I like to bake, but I don't really enjoy cooking. I love to travel and explore new places.
