You can use Credit from MIDAS OR UVU towards a lane change. Both will not be accepted towards a lane change.
Grading is based on the completion of each of the components of the LETRS professional development:
Face-to-Face Training Session
Online Coursework
Coursework Reflection (1 page, 12 pt font, double spaced)
Bridge to Practice
Write a one-page reflection for each unit (total of 2 pages per course). The reflection should include a summary reflection of your learning through the online course work, Bridge to Practice at the end of each session, and the in-person training. The reflection should also include how the learning you have gained through each LETRS unit impacts instructional practices in your classroom. This should be a personal reflection on your learning and not a collaborative reflection with your team. Reflections are expected to be thoughtful portrayals of how coursework applies to classroom practice for student learning. Responses such as, “This does not apply” will not be accepted.
Each unit reflection should be one page, 12 point font, and double-spaced.
NOTE: You will not submit your bridge to practice portfolio, you will reference your work in the one-page reflection for each unit.
Once you have completed every component for BOTH units in the course you are signed up for, you will submit your information and one-page reflection for each unit at the link below for each course. Grades will be posted with UVU a few weeks after the deadline due to the number of teachers seeking UVU credit.
