You are RESPONSIBLE for making up ALL notes, assignments, quizzes, etc. when you are absent. You will be held accountable for skills checks and quizzes immediately upon return to school. The best way to stay caught up in this class is to ATTEND every day!! We will be working together in groups to learn and practice the concepts. It will be more difficult for you to understand concepts when you do not attend class. PLEASE BE HERE EACH DAY!!
1) Refer to the canvas home page to find what you missed!!
2) Take the daily skills check. THESE LOCK AT THE END OF THE DAY THEY ARE ASSIGNED. Each day begins with a skills check on content learned in the class before. These are found in canvas and do not require an access code so can be done from home as needed.
3) Copy the Notes to my FFS from a classmate or click on this link. The best thing you can do to in this math class is to COME TO CLASS!
4) Refer to canvas to find the day’s practice to be completed on Deltamath. Complete the Delta Math assignment before coming back to class. Our lessons often build on the previous lesson!
5) Absent on Quiz Day: If you have missed an essential or related quiz due to absence, please reach out to the teacher to make arrangements for making up the quiz. It must be done in the classroom, with the teacher. It can be done before or after school or during Pride Time.
6) Returning to School on Quiz Day: Be prepared to take all Quizzes and Skills Checks the day you return to class. It is your responsibility to be ready for these even when you have been absent the day/s before!!
