4 Mastery- Student demonstrates a deep understanding of the standard and can demonstrate it in complex ways and/or transfer to new situations

3 Proficient- Student meets expectations described in the standard and can perform the skill or demonstrate understanding independently

2 Developing- Student demonstrates partial understanding of the standard or can perform portions of the standard with assistance

1 Emerging- Student does not demonstrate understanding of the standard or requires teacher assistance to perform simple parts of the standard.
