Beginning Band

AACA's Beginning Band consists of students in their first year of playing an instrument with the AACA Band program. Each trimester of the Beginning Band year focuses on different goals. In the first trimester, students learn the basic techniques of playing their instruments and begin learning the first three notes. During the second trimester, we continue building our technique while also learning to read and play songs from written music. During the third trimester, we keep expanding our range of known notes and our fluency with music reading. Click below to see what Beginning Band students have been working on!
