A demonstration of how to create a lesson. There are two examples. The first is a math lesson in how to find area. At about 8:40, he demonstrates a lesson in plurals using a spinner. And at 23:20, he shows how to use object animations to create a name that animal lesson.
Here are some tips from a commenter:
- Instead of using the line tool. Use the table tool. Drag the bottom and middle line to make square cells, then highlight and delete the first 3 cells to get your shape. Lastly, camera capture to make it an object and not a table and lock it down. Really fast. Love your lessons! Really clever! If you type all the plurals first and lock them down. Add a rectangle over each word, highlight all and use properties to color yellow. Then, you can double click on each rectangle and type the word in it. Not as cute as stars, but fast. Then highlight all and set to fade out. Because all the answers are locked they won't be selected and you can animate all the rectangles at the same time.
