I would also consider creating or using a visual graphic (maybe something like the one I shared in session 3) to help the students understand the flow of assignments between the teacher and student and where they need to go to open and submit assignments. It can be attached with the assignment given as an extra resource.

A. Putting it on youTube does take time but also saves space on your computer/tablet/phone. It makes it easier for the students too. If you share the video from Google Drive, the student's device has to 'process' the video to open it. For some reason it can be very slow and frustrating. Somehow in YouTube that process is a lot faster. Also, YouTube adds tools like slow down/speed up, CC, etc.

Check out loom.com. They allow you to create and host up to 25 videos for free. You can launch the recording from you browser (extension) or download the program to your device. The videos can be shared by a link. You can also download the videos and upload them to YouTube. See the video above I did using loom.

Consider using Shared Drive to save videos there. It allows for up to 400,000 files and folders - a lot more space than My Drive . It might need to be enabled by Tech/Admin. Note that when you upload to Shared Drive, content is owned by the organization and not by you as an individual. Also, check permission settings to make sure you can share the videos with students. (Information on Shared Drives - https://support.google.com/a/answer/7212025?hl=en&ref_topic=7337266)

A. There is a setting to Add Collaborators. Simply add their email address to give them access. They will receive and invitation email.

A. Short answer questions can’t be scored - maybe create two types of quizzes one with questions that can be scored, i.e. Multiple choice or choose all that apply and the second one with open-ended questions?

Also, you can decide what students can see after the submit the quiz by changing the Settings. When in editing mode in Google Form, click on cog wheel, select Quiz and make adjustments as needed. Uncheck the boxes if you don't want students to see the missed questions, correct answers or point values.

A. At this point Forms allow only YouTube to be embedded. You can insert links to videos in Google Drive or loom for example and ask students open them to watch them, but that an additional step and might be confusing for students.

Another option would be to add video to a page on Google Site and embed the form with questions next to it or underneath. See my example below (I am still using YouTube as it plays faster and comes with it's own player/tools but you can add videos fro your Google Drive too):

A. Google Docs doesn't have very good drawing tools. You could insert a circle and overlay it but it often moves... Another option would be to use whiteboard tools like Jamboard. You can pose the question/post picture right on it, have students answer and then you can provide feedback by drawing on it as well. See example below.
