SCHOOL BUS SAFETY WEEK
We commend our school bus drivers for their skills in all weather and conditions. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, school buses are the safest mode of transportation for getting children back and forth to school. Riding in a school bus is safer than walking, riding a bicycle, or being driven to school in private vehicles.

Alpena Public schools has released a new app for the convenience of our families, staff and community. The Alpena Public Schools app is customizable so you can find the information you need and receive the notifications you choose.

The app works wherever you go - on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets. You can receive notifications on your Chromebook or using a computer's web browser. If you don't have a smartphone, sign up for text messages and/or email notifications at: https://alpenaschools.appazur.com.
