Mrs Kraft's class made "Pumpkin Pie in a Cup" as part of their Thanksgiving celebration. They knew a fun afternoon was on its way when they saw how many cans of whip cream came in! This parfait is made with graham cracker crumbs, vanilla pudding, pumpkin puree, LOTS of whip and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

KINDERGARTEN BOOK OF THE MONTH

Mrs. Roznowski’s dad, Mr. Torok, read her class the book that sponsors paid for this month. It was called How to Catch a Turkey. Everyone was interested in this silly story.

NEW APS APP

Alpena Public schools has released a new app for the convenience of our families, staff and community. The Alpena Public Schools app is customizable so you can find the information you need and receive the notifications you choose.

You'll receive notifications from the school (e.g. snow days), and from the classes, teams, bus groups, (e.g. bus route delays/cancellations), parent groups, etc. that you subscribe to. Each school's calendar and lunch menus are also available on the app.

The app works wherever you go - on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets. You can receive notifications on your Chromebook or using a computer's web browser. If you don't have a smartphone, sign up for text messages and/or email notifications at: https://alpenaschools.appazur.com.

Get started with the “Alpena Public Schools” App! Either search for “Alpena Public Schools” in the App Store, or use the Google Play or App Store links at: https://alpenaschools.appazur.com
