Fr. Brandon Haynes

Northeast Arkansas has been my home for most of my life; my early years were spent in the small town of Pocahontas. After graduating high school, I attended Welch College in Nashville, Tennessee, and finished my undergrad career at Andersonville Theological. Moving to Jonesboro afforded me the opportunity to start and grow a career serving in various business analyst roles. It also gave me Matthew. Matthew and I have been together since 2011 and will be celebrating our 10th marriage anniversary in 2022. We get to spoil two pups, Ryker and Skylar.  I am a lover of art and music, especially when they intersect with spirituality, faith, and liturgy. My grandmothers instilled in me a love for gardens and food. Family is an anchor in my life. I will never turn down iced coffee. Historical-based novels are an escape. Mexican food is a weakness. I am a liturgy nerd and a connoisseur of incense.

Terry Ayers

Minister of Music music@allsaintsbentonville.org

Born in Oklahoma, Terry Ayers has been involved in music both sacred and secular since he was just eight years old. In his teens, Terry along with three other young men sang in a gospel quartet under the direction of his mentor, Dr. A. L. (Pete) Butler. Dr. Butler was the head of the minister of music program at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Kansas. Terry attended East Central University in his hometown of Ada, Ok. where he majored in music.

In 1978, Terry relocated to Los Angeles, CA. where he accepted a position at Chrysalis Records.

As a young man, Terry had pledged to devote time to working for the church and in 2000 Terry became the Minister of Music for Covenant Baptist Church in Nashville, TN. In 2003, Terry accepted a teaching position at a Christian Boys Academy in Lansing, MI where he taught music history and theory as well as leading the praise and worship team at Okemos Christian Center. Working with the head of jazz studies at Michigan State University, Rodney Whitaker, they established a Sunday Afternoon Jazz Vespers series featuring some of America’s greatest jazz artists. In 2005, Terry accepted a position as Minister Of Music at Faith Lutheran Church located here in Bentonville. Terry is very honored to become your new Minister Of Music at All Saints Episcopal Church.
