Please ensure your child is in school every day so that they don't miss out and have the best possible start in life.
If you think that your child might be too poorly for school, but you're not sure whether to keep them at home, please visit this very useful website for advice and guidance: www.nhs.uk/live-well/is-my-child-too-ill-for-school/
We have had a lot of children off poorly with vomiting and/or diarrhoea. Please remember that should your child experience vomiting and/or diarrhoea, you must keep them at home for 48 hours after their last incidence of sickness/diarrhoea.
The NHS provide some useful advice here: www.nhs.uk/symptoms/diarrhoea-and-vomiting/
Guidance on infection control in schools and other childcare settings can be found here: www.publichealth.hscni.net/sites/default/files/Guidance_on_infection_control_in%20schools_poster.pdf
We are wishing all our poorly children a speedy recovery 🙏
From the start of the 2026 to 2027 academic year, mainstream schools will receive an ABIE. This sets out the minimum improvement the government expects over the academic year. For this academic year (2025-2026), we have received an indicative ABIE!
Our school’s indicative ABIE for 2025 to 2026 is 96.2%. This is an increase of 0.3% compared with our attendance in the 2024 to 2025 academic year and will mean that our pupils will gain at least 175 extra school days, compared to last year. 🫨
This is the minimum improvement we are expected to make this academic year. Please help us to achieve our indicative ABIE for the academic year 2025-2026 by sending your child into school every day! 🙏

We are immensely proud to have achieved an attendance award from FFT. FFT is a non-profit organisation, backed by the Fischer Family trust, which provides data and analyses to all schools and LAs in England and Wales.
For the 2024/25 our excellent attendance placed us in the top 25% of all FFT Primary Schools in England!
Thank you to all our parents, carers, pupils and staff for their commitment to attendance.👏
This academic year, we would really like to be in the top 25 for the whole school year and we strongly welcome your support in achieving that goal.
