I’m CPR and First Aid certified, bonded and insured, and completed three years of undergraduate study in veterinary medicine. Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have owned a wide variety of pets, including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, hermit crabs, snakes, bearded dragons, birds, and fish—and have cared for even more species as well.
My love for animals began in childhood. Growing up, my dog Sage—a one-eyed rescue Rottweiler mix—was my best friend. At my kindergarten graduation, I proudly announced that I wanted to become a veterinarian, and from that moment on, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to working with animals.
During my undergraduate studies, I initially pursued Pre-Veterinary Medicine, where I gained hands-on experience working with injured, ill, and disabled animals, as well as purebred dogs and cats and many other furry, feathered, and scaled companions. These experiences broadened my understanding of animal behavior and provided practical training in both emergency response and preventative care.
One of the highlights of my academic journey was studying abroad in Australia, where I had the opportunity to intern at The Australia Zoo. This experience further strengthened my passion for animal care and welfare while allowing me to learn from professionals in a unique and diverse environment.
After shifting my academic focus, I graduated from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 2025 with a Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources. My studies focused on ecosystems, water resources, genetics, and sustainability, and I conducted research projects throughout New Jersey.
I began pet sitting as a part time job in highschool, then switched to full time when starting college. While my studies expanded into ecology and environmental science, my lifelong passion for working with and caring for animals has never wavered. Pet sitting has remained one of the most rewarding parts of my life, and I have no plans to step away from it. That's why I decided to turn that passion into a business dedicated to providing exceptional, reliable care that pet owners can trust.
Outside of work, I enjoy crafting, gardening, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I also love fitness, art, museums, and live music. You could say I’m a bit of a serial hobbyist — I’m always excited to learn, create, and try something new!
