Educational Websites

This resource is a compilation of educational websites, organized by skill or topic, for students and their families to access at home.

Some of these resources are also used at school. Some are not. They are checked out by Alliance City Schools TRTs and we agree they have educational value.

All linked resources are free to access and use. Some resources may have additional paid content.

Please be aware that free resources might have advertisements. Please remember to talk to your kids about internet advertising, and supervise their use of these sites.

Our Favorite Sites

Starfall.com is an educational website that provides interactive content to help your child with the fundamentals of learning. Starfall.com is easy to navigate and provides hours and hours of engaging educational content for pre-school and grade school kids. An added bonus is that Starfall does not have advertising on its website.

PBS KIDS content helps preschool and school aged children in each of the four key areas of childhood development – cognitive, social, emotional and physical. PBS requires its children’s producers to create educational support materials for young people and the adults who care for them. Programs are extended beyond broadcast to interactive learning activities on pbskids.org, as well as through educational outreach activities and print materials.

Hundreds of fun educational games and activities for kids to play online. Topics include math, geography, animals, and more.

ABCya.com is a website that provides educational games and activities for school-aged children. The games on the website are organized into grade levels from pre-kindergarten to Sixth grade, as well as into subject categories such as letters, numbers, and holidays.
