Catanduanes Island, also known as the "Happy Island", is a kidney-shaped island in the Philippines, located at the easternmost tip of the Bicol Peninsula. It's known for its lush landscapes, pristine beaches, and rugged terrain, as well as its resilient and friendly people. The island is part of the Bicol Region and is separated from the mainland by the Maqueda Channel and Lagonoy Gulf.
In the local area, Dengue fever was reported, so we recommend everyone bring bug spray, mosquito nets, and long sleeves to keep themselves protected.

The average temperature in Catanduanes Island is consistently warm throughout the year, with little variation between seasons. The annual average temperature is around 27 degrees Celsius (81 degrees Fahrenheit). Hottest months are April to June, with temperatures reaching up to 32°C (90°F), while the coolest months are December to February, averaging around 24°C (75°F).
Rainfall is common, especially during the fall months, but it is less intense compared to the peak of the rainy season.
