Arrival Days: New volunteers need to arrive on Mondays or Wednesdays before 5 pm.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided during work days. Vegetarian diets can be accommodated upon request, but any other dietary preferences (vegan, gluten-free, etc.) should bring food or other items to supplement their meals.
WiFi: Not provided on base. Volunteers should expect to purchase a local SIM card and data plan, which can be bought on their arrival in Kathmandu.
Access: The Jhunga village offers a small mini-market with basic items and a couple of cafes. If you require any specific items, it’s better to purchase them in KTM before joining the program. The closest ATM is in Bhiman town, about 15 minutes away from Jhunga, so we recommend bringing enough cash from Kathmandu.
