To be eligible for enrollment as an NS I Cadet at William Allen High School NJROTC program You must meet the following criteria:

a.       Be enrolled in, and attending, a regular course of instruction at the school where the unit is located (WAHS)

b.   Be of good moral character as determined by the Principal of the school, SNSI, NSI.

d.      Be physically qualified to participate fully in the school's physical education program.  Current annual school physical evaluations are mandatory for cadet participation in the program. Annual Physical Exams are REQUIRED for those cadets that seek to challenge themselves physically and take the Annual Cadet Challenge given twice a year.

"The first year of the program provides cadets with an introduction to both leadership and citizenship.  The first year also gives the new cadets exposure to personal growth and responsibility and establishes a foundation of military structure and tradition. After successful completion of the curriculum for NS I Cadets will earn elective credits towards graduation requirements.
