(Annual Military Inspection)
The purpose of the NJROTC Annual Military Inspection (AMI)—also called the Area Manager Inspection—is to evaluate a unit's compliance with U.S. Navy standards, assess cadet discipline and military bearing, and measure the overall effectiveness of the program's leadership and training. It happens once a year in the month of February. All cadets in the unit are required to participate.
