Student-Led Workshops

One aspect of May Term are the student-led workshops. Student leaders share a passion or personal interest with their peers. The introduction of student-led sessions was designed to allow students to step out of their comfort zone and into the driver's seat as teachers. Docendo discimus, "by teaching we learn." Students leading these workshops will gain empathy as they take on the role of facilitator in the classroom with the support and collaboration of a faculty member.

Each student will take 2 workshops total. Each workshop will be a total of 90 minutes offered in two 45 minute blocks. Each workshop will have a faculty advisor.
