Coach Smith graduated from Lockport Township High School in Lockport, IL in 2013. He played 4 seasons of collegiate baseball at the D3, NAIA, and JUCO levels. Upon graduation in 2019, Coach Smith began coaching as a Sophomore Asst Coach at Alleman High School. In 2021, Coach Smith became the Head Baseball Coach at Orion High School. While there, Coach Smith complied a 54-27 record while winning two Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) West Conference Championships. After the 2023 season, Coach Smith took the Head Baseball Coach job at Alleman High School. In his first year at Alleman, he led the Pioneers to 8 wins, which was the more than double the wins of the previous 2 seasons combined. In 2025, he led the Pioneers to a 27-10 record.

Coach Wetherell graduated from Alleman High School in 2011. He was a 3-sport athlete, competing in football, wrestling, and baseball. After high school, Coach Wetherell went on to play football at St. Ambrose University. He began his coaching career by coaching wrestling at United Township High School. In 2021, he joined Coach Smith's coaching staff at Orion High School. Coach Wetherell returned back to his alma mater in 2024 to join Coach Smith's coaching staff. Coach Wetherell's positive vibes make him a program favorite season after season.

Coach Schnieder graduated from Alleman High School in 2021. Upon graduation, Coach Schnieder played baseball at Quincy University. After some injuries, he retired from baseball, and joined Coach Smith's coaching staff at Orion High School in 2023. Coach Schneider returned to his alma mater in 2024 to join Coach Smith's coaching staff. He is studying at Western Illinois University at Quad Cities to become a teacher. Coach Schneider's upbeat energy make him a true gem in the program.

Coach Noble graduated from Alleman High School in 2022. Coach Noble returned to his alma mater in 2024 to join Coach Smith's coaching staff. Coach Noble served as a Varsity Asst Coach for 2 seasons. Coach Noble has moved into the Junior Varsity Head Coaching Position for the 2025-2026 season.

Coach Bowker graduated from Alleman High School in 2020. Coach Bowker was a member of the state qualifying 2019 team. Coach Bowker's senior season was canceled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He returned to his alma mater in 2025 to join Coach Smith's coaching staff. Coach Bowker serves as a Junior Varsity Asst Coach.

Coach Berry graduated from Alleman High School in 2019. Coach Berry was a member of the state qualifying 2019 team. He returned to his alma mater in 2025 to join Coach Smith's coaching staff. Coach Berry serves as a Junior Varsity Asst Coach. Coach Berry is currently completing a strength & conditioning internship at the University of Iowa.

Coach Parker graduated from Rock Falls High School in 2021. Coach Parker then went on to punt and kick at Concordia University - Wisconsin. He also serves as the Special Teams Coach for the Alleman Football Team. Coach Parker serves as a Junior Varsity Asst Coach.
