I graduated from Rowan University. I have been a teacher at Alice Costello for over 25 years. Throughout my time here I am fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work with students in grades K-8. Early in my career at ACES, I had the privilege of teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades. After that time, I became a math interventionist where I enjoyed getting to know and instruct students in small group settings. In more recent years, I have had the pleasure of working with middle school students. Prior to my current position, teaching 6th and 7th grade math, I instructed 8th grade Algebra students.
Working in many positions throughout the building has enabled me to gain a better understanding and appreciation of the flow of the mathematics curriculum. In addition, I have gained valuable insight on how students learn and mature academically, socially, and emotionally.
When I am not at ACES, I am spending time with my family. I have 3 children who keep me very busy. As a family, we enjoy spending time together at the beach and traveling. One of my favorite past times is watching my children do the things they like most, such as sports and dance. I feel quite fortunate to have two of the most rewarding jobs there are...being both a mother and a teacher.
