Mr. Hossam who represents a part of the Egyptian society as a medium class citizen had been successfully attempting to save electricity by replacing it with renewable sources especially by using the solar energy.

When asked about the size of his apartment he answered, " my apartment is about 200-meter squares however 60-meter squares of it is a garden. " When also asked about the percentage of renewable sources he uses in his apartment he had explained , " My whole apartment needs electricity however I am planning on using renewable sources like the solar energy to protect the environment as well as save money." He could be considered a role model that a lot of people should follow.

Living with his wife and three children in his apartment, he owned a lot of electrical appliances from televisions and air conditioners to kettles and toasters which would consume a huge amount of electricity.

After he had started using the renewable sources, he had realized how positively effective it is to the environment and how cheaper it was. He also had managed to encourage a lot of family and friends to follow his lead and cut short on using electricity.
