From Preparatory level to level 5 and beyond, children are introduced to the Arabic Language step-by-step. Age and appropriate Learning Stage related resources are used to teach and enhance children’s knowledge of the Arabic Language. 

There are seven levels in the Arabic series programme for children aged 4 to 15 at Al-Hikmah. Children at lower levels are introduced to basic vocabulary, writing practices and so on. They will be progressing gradually increasing their knowledge of the language in both written and spoken manner. We regularly test our students and help with their understanding of this beautiful language spoken by more than 400 million people worldwide. 

Children learning at medium and higher levels are taught the Arabic Grammar comprehensively, covering all areas. Our Arabic teachers are fully qualified and well acquainted with the Arabic and English knowledge to deliver the lessons efficiently to children at all levels. Our prime objective is to ensure children understand the Quran in real-terms and learn to communicate fluently in Arabic.     

We use simplified Arabic textbooks and practice books with unit-by-unit learning approach. Children are equipped with the right tools according  to their Arabic levels to learn and do their tasks effectively, attaining and progressing to the next level. The learning resources are also designed to meet the criteria for both Arabic and non-Arabic speaking children, helping children to achieve the best outcome after completion of their Arabic studies.
