Runestone Area Education District works in partnership with the school districts of Alexandria, Brandon-Evansville, Minnewaska, Osakis and Parkers Prairie working together to serve our special education students. We believe students who receive the appropriate help and support can develop the skills necessary to keep pace with traditional classroom settings. We aim to teach all of our students how to leverage their strengths in areas that may be difficult, and how to search for the tools in order to succeed. 

We provide a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. We also value work-life balance, offering flexible work locations outside of direct student service hours. Starting pay is determined by education and experience per the Teacher’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, with a range of $46,258 to $87,302 for a 183-day contract.
