SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (Early Interventionist)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Birth to 3 Special Education Teacher (Early Interventionist) to provide developmental services to infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. In this role, you will work directly with families in their homes to implement the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Your primary focus is not just direct instruction, but coaching parents and caregivers to embed learning opportunities into their daily routines. This position would support Brandon-Evansville, Osakis and Parkers Prairie.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Runestone Area Education District is seeking a .80 FTE Itinerant Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support for students (ages 0–22) whose motor, sensory, or functional abilities impact their educational performance. This position will conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide interventions. The OT serves as the district’s primary expert in fine motor development, sensory processing, and adaptive equipment to ensure students can function independently within the least restrictive environment. The position follows the Teacher Contract structure working .80 FTE, 146.4 working days, although these days may be served throughout the full fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). This position assignment is to tentatively fill the needs of the Minnewaska district, with some possibility of supporting the B-2 program in Alexandria for the 2026-2027 school year. RAED supports all five member districts, so this assignment is variable based on needs from year-to-year in those member districts.
SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
Runestone Area Education District is currently seeking a 1.0 FTE School Psychologist for the 2026-2027school year. This position will be working in an itinerant job role supporting students by conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations of children ages birth to 21 who are suspected of having learning behavioral and/or emotional difficulties. In addition, the school psychologist will aid in conducting functional behavior assessments, interpret assessment results, collaborate with other professionals, and present results to parents and school personnel at team meetings. These services may also include consultation to staff and administrators regarding behavior management, IEP goals, teaching strategies, special education criteria, laws and procedures as well as providing in-service training.
