First--I hope you had a wonderful Winter Break! It is so nice to slow down a bit and take time to enjoy family! This sets the tone for the beginning of the new year and helps us align our priorities! As we get back to our normal schedule, please be aware that students are tardy after the 8:15 bell rings. Teachers begin their day with instruction and many students miss vital knowledge when they are late for school! Thank you for supporting our village by having your child to school on time.
Next--As sickness is upon us, please make sure that you are sending in Doctor notes and parent notes to let us know why your child is out. Please remember that if your child has a fever over 100 without medicine, please keep them home until they are fever free for 24 hours. Also, if your child has more than 12 absences and you are planning a trip with an educational opportunity, those will not be approved because it will put them over the 10% absence rate. Please keep this in mind as we are approach the spring time and warmer season. Let me know if you have any questions!
