Principal's Message

Can you believe that we are almost through the third nine weeks of school? This year is truly flying by. With summer on the horizon, we do not want to see anyone began to shift into "cruise control." I have observed a tremendous amount of growth from students since the beginning of the year, and I look forward to seeing what else students accomplish from now until the end of May. During the third nine weeks, we celebrated students' iReady Growth by taping me to the wall. Everyone had a good laugh, seeing me held to the wall by duct tape. Consistent student attendance is critical for students to be successful. High quality instruction is continuing to take place daily, including fraction units in the upper grades and addition/subtraction units in the lower grades. Our Love of Reading Challenge is in full swing. Seeing the thermometers fill up in classrooms is exciting. Throughout the month of March, our Math Nights will be conducted. We look forward to seeing you there. Students in grades 3-5 will take county benchmarks the week of March 21st-25th. We will use this data to adjust our instruction to best meet your child's needs for the remainder of this school year.
