Alexander Central High School has a food pantry open to Alexander County Schools' students. Also, a backpack program is offered for students and families who are in need. The backpack program offers families with free groceries for the weekend and school breaks. Food backpacks usually include easy-to-prepare/kid friendly meals. School may limit one per family.
